Internet addresses are as before, although retaining my "meepmeep!"mail was a challenge, and I wasn't sure it was going to work until a few days ago. I still owe several people letters but I'm feeling very ambivalent about interpersonal communication and besides, lately my wrists get sore easily, which worries me.
My contributor's copy of _Cthulhu Unbound, vol. 1_ came in the snail. I read the whole thing. It's good stuff. I'm relieved it's not just riding on a famous, if elderitch, name.
I sent my games in for NEGACon, but will likely go soft in the nose when I see how little we actually have to make a flier with. The flyer is now behind schedule. Don't expect it before the end of May.
The Rock star Girl from Austin did finally send me another letter, but its tone was friendly and drive-by, so I've dialed back my expectations. I haven't clicked on a Personals site in at least 40 days, not even the new and still "100% free" Trek Passions spinoff called Comicbook Passions. ("Before victory, comes temptation")
My Inner Geek still cannot decide if the Watchmovie was good or not. I've been feeding it too much wikipedia in order to keep it quiet and distract it. If I say I've been obsessed with superheroes, is that actually news, or is that like saying there's been violence in the Middle East? Is writing fragments of bad superhero fanfic better than writing nothing at all?
In closing, Carthage must be destroyed. (That's my pseudo-intellectual way of saying I know these posts are too long, and about as exciting as C-Span in Latin.)
