Hey, Catherine, how would you feel about going with me to see 'Spider-Man 2'? (I don't like to go to the movies alone. It just seems..inefficient. Maybe I just don't have enough crowd rapport, but it doesn't seem a properly social experience unless I know someone else there. Often, I don't go to the movies at all, but this film's an exception. Yes, I admit it-- I'm a comicbook geek. I am not, however, a fanboy. Naturally, only a geek would care to make such a distinction. Possibly geeks are the only people who even use the term 'fanboy'. It's hard to say. ) I read in NewsWeek that Michael Chabon wrote the plot treatment for it, and from what I've seen, the visual effects should be quite impressive. I figured with your artistic background and all, you'd be the most likely person I could find to really appreciate (or, for that matter, most authoritatively judge and pick apart) such a movie.
*shrug* Like I said, it's just a thought.
be well.
