Shadowlight's Lighthouse

that I submitted this to my church's newsletter a few months back when they specifically asked me for material; that it was printed (kinda down in a corner, I wasn't sure anyone would even know it was a poem, I'm always so nervous about things like that.) and last week, a friend from church who spends her winters in warmer climes asked me if she could show the poem to her book group. (I told her I'd be honored if she did that.) It means a lot to me when people like my work. I'm never particularly sure how anything I say or do will be received, so I sometimes get in the unfortunate habit of saying little and writing less. ... Eventually, I'll get braver, with God's help.
